With the 2011 IEMA Conference we would like to continue the tradition of honoring those individuals that have provided a valuable service to the emergency management field and have passed away within the past three years. Any individual, paid or volunteer, who has a minimum of 5 years of service and has made a significant impact on the emergency management field is eligible for recognition. All local and state agencies have the opportunity to nominate an individual from their jurisdiction. A specific area within the main conference room will be set aside to honor the accomplishments of these individuals by displaying their picture and personal information.
